RAMBAN, July 10: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Gool under the aegis Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi provided hearing aid, speech therapy and audiometry training to five year old boy of village Gool.
The boy namely Abid, son of Riyaz Ahmed was suffering from sensorineural hearing loss for the last five years and was rehabilitated by the Army by providing hearing aid, speech therapy and audiometry training.
Abid is now able to detect sounds and recognize the voice of his parents thereby bringing hope to his future.
