Army organizes medical-cum-veterinary camp

SRINAGAR, Jan 28: Army today organized a medical-cum-veterinary camp in Sher Colony of Baramulla district under its ‘Operation Sadhbhavana’.
A joint team of doctors from Army and civil administration, including lady doctors, nursing assistants and paramedics participated in the camp providing medical assistance to 426 people, including men, women and children.
Besides, 427 livestock were also treated at the camp. A team of one veterinary doctor with three assistants was present to treat the livestock. Various other stalls, including one stall of fertilizers, a stall of Road Safety by Motor Vehicle Department and a stall by HP gas for spreading awareness about use and safety of LPG cylinder was also on display for the awareness of the locals.
The Army has been regularly organizing medical camps in the strife torn areas of Baramulla district.
