SRINAGAR, Mar 23: Army organized an exposure visit for 25 students and two faculty members of Hospitality Domain of Chinar Nau Jawan Club, Baramulla to hotel ‘The Khyber’ in Gulmarg today.
An Army spokesman said that the hotel conducted visit for the students to Food and Beverages section, House Keeping and Front Desk section and explained them the functioning and nuances of each in detail.
He said the queries of the students were also clarified by the staff and they also interacted with one of the Ex students of the club, Imtiyaz Ahmed, currently working at the hotel.
“A detailed briefing was also organized by the hotel for the students covering various issues related to the hotel industry. They were also made aware of the opportunities available in Hospitality industry wherein they can utilize their skills to the full potential. The students benefited immensely from the visit which gave them an insight into the hospitality industry,” he said.
