SRINAGAR, Oct 27: Army in Aragam village of South Kashmir today started a two-day career counselling capsule for local youth.
A defence spokesman said the boys who had completed their schooling or college attended the three-hour long systematically planned counselling session. “During this session, various job opportunities that exist after 12th and college were discussed like jobs in Armed forces, police, banks, jobs as teachers, through sports quota and in tourism etc,” he said.
The defence spokesman said the aim of this counseling session is to channelise the youth in right direction to ensure they remain in the mainstream and work towards betterment and development of Kashmir.
