JAMMU, June 25: A jawan of Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhaderwah today saved the life of a civilian, who was suffering from severe Anaemia and infection in chest, by donating his blood.
Bansi Lal (74), a resident of village Shiva and carpenter by profession, was suffering from severe Anaemia and infection in chest.
He was in urgent need of blood and on the request of his family one unit of blood was collected from the jawan and transfused to Bansi Lal at Civil Hospital, Doda.
