Srinagar, Jan 15: Army today said that it held an orientation-cum-counseling class at SK Bala Army camp in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district ahead of upcoming recruitment rally in April.
A defence spokesman said around 30 youths from SK Bala and nearby villages attended the class. “The scope of the class was to orient the youth and provide them with basic information about the recruitment rally which included information like important dates and places related to the recruitment rally, eligibility criteria, conduct and pattern of physical as well as written tests followed by a doubt session,” he added.
“These series of classes will be conducted twice a month for proper guidance and to keep youth motivated to join Army. During the interaction the youth conveyed their confidence and satisfaction to get through in the recruitment,” the spokesman said.
