RAJOURI, Apr 25: An interactive meeting with veterans was organised by Indian Army at Lam, in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district to address issues concerning their health, education, employment and personal documentation.
The important role orchestrated by the veterans to mould the young generations to follow the path of nationalism and unity was also highlighted during the event. The veterans further expressed solidarity with the Indian Army to free the area from the clutches of drug addiction and other social evils.
Army also provided a help desk to enlighten the war veterans about latest Government policies, pre-recruitment rallies and entrance exam coaching being conducted and planned in the coming months.
The veterans appreciated the relentless efforts of the Indian Army to assist the local populace whenever required and working in the interest of peace and prosperity in the region.
