MENDHAR, Dec 29: Indian Army helped two-year old Ahida Parveen to get back her smile after she was successfully operated of her cleft-lip.
Daughter of Nazakat Hussein, Ahida was born two years back with cleft lip deformity at militancy effected area of Hill-Kaka, situated in Surankote tehsil of Poonch. Once a battalion of Remo Force was on patrolling in her village when an Army officer saw the little girl, who was unable to get smile at her tenderly lips.
She was taken to PGI Chandigarh for Plastic Surgery, which proved fine to herself and she was able to bring the smiles on her lips.
After the successful operation of the girl child, the locals of her village along with many In-line and Out-line organisations appreciated the initiative of Indian Army and Remo Force of Surankote.
