Army distributes furniture to schools

RAJOURI, Oct 5: In another stellar project under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ towards improving the infrastructure of schools in the hinterland of Sunderbani, desk and tables were provided to the Schools by Kalidhar Brigade under the aegis of Crossed Swords Division.
Under the project, Government Lower High School, Balshama, Government Boys High School, Siot and Government Middle School, Sunderbani were presented with desk and tables by the Army authorities.
The students studying in these schools, being from remote villages and poor families, lack the basic educational infrastructure to pursue quality education. Army provided furniture to the schools after the staff of the schools approached the Army authorities and sought help in terms of infrastructural upgradation.
The event of distribution was attended by the school staff, students, Army officials and other prominent members of the civil administration.
