JAMMU, Aug 13: Army conducted a ‘Military Equipment and Band Display’ for the local youth and school children of Akhnoor Tehsil.
Complete array of weapons and equipment from tanks to guns including surveillance equipment was displayed.
A military pipe band played martial music and a Dog Show by the Army dogs enthralled the children.
More than 1500 youth and children from local schools and colleges attended the colourful event.
The initiative motivated the local youth to know more about the Indian Army and take up the noble profession of Armed Forces.
