SRINAGAR: Army Chief General Bikram Singh today met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here and discussed the prevailing security situation in the State.
“Chief of Indian Army, along with General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, Lt General DS Hooda and GOC 15 Corps, Lt General Subrata Saha called on the Chief Minister and discussed matters relating to the prevailing security situation in the State,” a State Government spokesman said.
He said the Army generals briefed the Chief Minister about the functioning of the security grid besides issues related to it. (AGENCIES)
