Army assisting populace in improving quality of life: MLA

RAMBAN, May 3: Army has been assisting local civil populace in improving the quality of life in all spheres.
This was stated by Ashok Kumar, MLA, during computers and furniture distribution function at Government Primary School, Mainal, Village Dharmund, Batote.
He said that the Army Hospital at Batote is also an endeavour of the Army, which not only provides free medical treatment but also provides medicines to children and people coming from the poor families.
Army not only provided computers and furniture but also sports goods and other educational material to the school under the aegis of Headquarters Delta Force, he added.
MLA highlighted the contributions made by the Field Hospital of the Delta Force in helping and supporting the local populace.
He informed the public that this school has now become the best Primary School in the district and considered a model school due to contribution by the Army.
He requested Commanding Officer, Field Hospital, who was present on the occasion, to continue providing the support to the school and also provide treatment to the children as the school is in remote locality.
