JAMMU, Jan 28: Troops of Rashtriya Rifles, Territorial Army and Reasi police today recovered a consignment of arms and ammunition from village Bajali in Dandihalya area of Reasi district.
Official reports said a joint team of the security forces carried out search operation in Bajali and destroyed natural hideout of the militants.
Recoveries made from the hideouts included one AK-47 rifle with one magazine and 249 rounds, one Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), one 9mm pistol with magazine, five rounds of 9mm pistol ammunition, 23 Pika rounds, one radio set and war like stores.
Army and police conducted searches in the area after effecting the recoveries but no arrests were made from the spot.
