JAMMU, June 23: Army and SOG today recovered a consignment of arms and ammunition from Hill Kakka and Chotian Wali Dhok and busted a militant hideout in Bafliaz area of Surankote tehsil in Poonch district.
SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral said a joint team of 16 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group (SOG) today conducted search operation at Hill Kakka and Chotian Wali Dhak in Bafliaz and busted a hideout of the militants.
Recoveries made from the hideout include one Universal Machine Gun (UMG), rounds and 222 catridges.
Security forces have launched search operation in the area after the recoveries. However, no arrests have been made so far.
