NEW DELHI, May 29: Prices of arhar and gram fell by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on weak demand from retailers at prevailing levels.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers at prevailing levels and adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in arhar and gram prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,550-4,650 and Rs 6,100-6,300 per quintal, respectively.
Gram also shed Rs 50 at Rs 2,800-3,500, while its dal local and best quality enquired lower by the same margin to Rs 3,550-3,750 and Rs 3,650-3,750 per quintal, respectively.
Besin Shaktibhog and Rajdhani eased to Rs 1,400 against last close of Rs 1,430 per 35 bag, respectively.

Urad 5,200-5,700, Urad Chilka (local) 6,400-6,600, best 6,650-7,250, Dhoya 6,900-7,300, Moong 6,000-7,300, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,100-7,600, Moong Dhoya local 7,000-7,300 and best quality 7,800-7,900.
Masoor small 5,250-5,450, bold 5,250-5,550, Dal Masoor local 6,000-6,100, best quality 6,100-6,200, Malka local 5,600-5,900, best 5,800-5,900, Moth 4,600-5,000, Arhar 4,550-4,650, Dal Arhar Dara 6,100-6,300.
Gram 2,800-3,500, Gram Dal (local) 3,550-3,750, best quality 3,650-3,750, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,400, Rajdhani 1,400, Rajmah Chitra 6,400-9,400,Kabli Gram small 3,800-6,400, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100. (PTI)
