SRINAGAR, July 11: The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) has reiterated its demand to conduct a judicial probe in the Pathribal and Chittisinghpora killings.
Reacting to Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Abu Jindal’s statement in police custody that he killed 36 Sikhs at Chittisinghpora in 2000, APSCC chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina in a press release said that few months back David Headley had also taken the responsibility for killing the Sikhs at Chittisinghpora.
“Sikhs of Kashmir are not going to believe such statements unless the case is thoroughly proven by a judicial probe. The Government of India should conduct impartial inquiry at the hands of an independent body so that the truth comes to the fore,” said Raina.
He  said that the Commission headed by Justice Pandian said that the killings at Pathribal were fake. He said the impartial inquiry in the Chittisinghpora killings would settle the nerves of the Sikh community and it would be clear who killed the innocent Sikhs in March 2000.
