This is with reference to “Implications of AAP emergence” by Prof A N Sadhu, DE Feb. 26.
The problem with we Aam Admis is : we do not know our responsibilities. On the other hand, we are made to believe by political parties that it is the first and fore most duty of the Govt to make us rich. We want to avail of free water, free food, free electricity, free medical care and medicine and free petroleum products.
Kejriwal knows that common citizen does not know that companies pay six types of taxes to Govt. In many cases, the amount of tax paid is more than the amount retained by these companies as profits. Incomes earned by Indian middle class is also subjected to Income Tax provisions.
Politicians use this money collected in the shape of taxes for distributing free water, free food and free electric power to the voter to buy his/her vote.
