JAMMU, June 8: The Apni Party has requested additional deployment of sanitation staff during the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
As per a statement, the party leaders Vaibhav Mattoo, District Vice-President of Jammu Urban, and Vishal Joshi, Provincial Secretary, met with Jammu Mayor Rajinder Sharma today to discuss public issues in the municipal wards.
During their meeting, they demanded that the corporation assign extra workers to the wards, especially in areas where the Amarnath Yatris would be staying and visiting markets.
“The Yatris are our ambassadors, and they represent the image of Jammu throughout the country. Therefore, the city’s cleanliness and parking issues must be addressed as a priority,” the duo told the Jammu Mayor, according to a statement.
The Mayor patiently listened to the Apni Party leaders and assured them that he would prioritize addressing the municipal issues.
