JAMMU, Mar 6: All Parties Migrants Coordination Com-mittee (APMCC) today organized a unique ‘Shradhanjali’ ceremony at Tawi Ghat to pay tributes to the security forces who have laid down their lives in the line of duty while protecting motherland in terror infested Jammu and Kashmir State over the years.
The initiative was taken by APMCC, working in Kashmir for years together for cultural revival.
The tributes were paid at a function here today which was attended by people from all sections of society, political leaders of various parties, social organizations and security forces to salute the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect India from enemies at borders and within in Jammu and Kashmir.
APMCC chairman Vinod Pandit offered floral tributes as a mark of respect to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in Pulwama in fighting the terrorist.
King Bharati, said that the soil from Pulwama would be taken to Amar jawan Jyoti and a sapling will be planted as remembrance of the sacrifices of security forces for the nation.
Large number of political leaders, civil society and representatives of security forces belonging to Indian Army, BSF, CRPF and J&K Police gathered collectively at Tawi Ghat and paid floral tributes to the martyrs as common citizens of the society. Kamal Kishore has volunteered to organize a grand rally in New Delhi for final tributes to martyrs at Amar jawan Jyoti.
