JAMMU, July 17: President Anantnag Prabandhak Committee (APC) Maharaj Krishan Bambroo has appealed his community members to show solidarity with the Government at the times of crisis and extend all support to it in restoration of normalcy in Kashmir Valley.
In a statement issued here today, Mr Bambroo urged the BJP MLC who also represents the KP community in the Legislature to take up the issue regarding protection of shrines and temples of Kashmiri with the Government.
Bambroo said the MLC should also take security issue of the package employees and other members of minority community including Amarnath pilgrims with Government so that all apprehensions of the hapless employees and yatris are removed. He said instead of opposing the Government at this critical juncture we all should be solidly behind it till normalcy is restored in strife –torn Valley. The other issues regarding any difference with policies and programmes of the Government can be taken up later as this is not opportune time to criticize the Government as it will send a wrong message among the enemies of peace in the State.
Mr Bambroo said Anantnag Prabandhak Committee is a democratic organization working for welfare of the community and its shrines and religious places in the area. He also appealed all other KP organizations not to indulge in any kind of politics on protection of shrines and temples in Valley and refrain from taking any decision in hurry weather on constitution of Shrine Board or any other thing.
