Hyderabad, June 26 : India’s leading conglomerate in the building material industry, Aparna Enterprises on Monday announced it has foray into the B2C business with the launch of its first company owned outlet in Chennai (Tamil Nadu).
Over 10 crores will be invested in this financial year to launch 20 more stores across 5 states, Hyderabad based compa said in a release here.
The company owned outlets will display a wide array of products in the tile segment along with tiles, uPVC & aluminum doors & windows.
The company will expand its reach through franchise model and third party multi-brand B2C outlets as well.
According to industry reports, India’s domestic consumption for tiles and uPVC doors & windows is growing at a CAGR of 8-10 percent Y-O-Y, while, aluminum windows & doors industry is growing at a CAGR of 5 percent backed by the accelerated growth in the real estate industry, and Government of India’s push for infrastructural development in the country.
The growing aspiration of India’s middleclass to own homes in the post pandemic world is one of the key reason driving Aparna Enterprises to move closer to its customers with the launch of its B2C business.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Ashwin Reddy, Managing Director, Aparna Enterprises Limited, said, ‘ we feel now it is the right time to expand into the B2C segment with the launch of our own showrooms. We hope that our company owned outlets would contribute to nearly 10 percent to our revenue in the next 5 years led by Vitero & Vester. As a business, we have been growing at a CAGR of 15 percent in the last 4 years and we are eying to exit the current financial year with a turnover of Rs.2000 crore. We aim to touch 50 company owned stores by FY’25.’The focus markets are Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Orissa & Kolkata.
Aparna Enterprises has been supplying tiles and windows & doors to leading real estate giants like Godrej, Prestige, Mahindra Life Space, L&T Construction, Shapoorji & Pallonji, Brigade, My Home, and NCC for many years and the company envision to translate this success in the B2C business as well.
