JAMMU, Feb 3: Government has reconstituted the Annual Plan Approval Committee (APAC) under Information Education Communication (IEEC) and Capacity Building (CB) components of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the order, Administrative Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department/ Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Urban, will be chairman of the committee while Commissioners of both Srinagar and Jammu Municipal Corporations and Directors of both Kashmir and Jammu Urban Local Bodies, will be its members.
Moreover, representatives of Finance Department as well as Planning, Development & Monitoring Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) and representative of Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India will also be members of the committee.
The committee will consider and approve the Annual Plan of IEC and CB of Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) within the perspective plan approved by the Apex Level High Power Committee and the Mission Director shall forward the Annual Action Plan approved by the APAC to the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India, for release of funds and subsequently ratified by ALHPC along with perspective plan for future years.
