SAMBA, June 1: Association of Industries flayed PDD for unscheduled power cuts in the industrial Growth Centre Phase 1, 2nd and other adjoining areas.
President, Association of Industries, Bharat Bhushan Raina, said that the practice is going since last 40 days and Power department is making lame excuses on one or other behalf. The power system in Industrial areas has totally collapsed and the small industry is at the verge of closure.
There seems to be less coordination between various wings of PDD, they are shuttling excuses upon one another. He said, adding, that it has become almost impossible to meet both ends for the micro, tiny and small industry.
Raina appealed Chief Engineer PDD to personally intervene in the matter and issue necessary direction to save the industry sector.
