RAJOURI, Dec 17: NSS unit and Red Ribbon Club of PG College Rajouri held an Anti HIV Awareness Program in collaboration with the AIDS Control Society, Rajouri.
On this occasion, two events were organized namely Poster Making Competition and Symposium.
The Programme was presided over by the Principal Prof S H Shah and Dr Chaman Bhasin, CMO, District Rajouri was the chief guest.
Dr. Sumit gave a power-point presentation on the causes, consequences and remedial measures of HIV.
A large number of students participated in the event.
I n poster making competition Zariat Hussain, Sonam Sharma and Gulnaz Akhter of BSc Part IIIrd were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd while in Symposium, Ahlam Mir, B.Sc Part 3rd, Sushant Sharma B.Sc Part 3rd and Sahil Gupta were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Programme was coordinated by Prof Raheela Mushtaq, NSS Programme Officer (Girls Unit) and the proceedings were conducted by Dr Naseem Malik Programme Officer ( Boys Wing).
