JAMMU, Dec 22: Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) J&K which was recently created by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has strived hard to curb the menace of drugs trade and peddling in J&K. Many drug dealers and interstate smugglers have been arrested and huge consignments of narcotics worth crores seized by ANTF so far.
Today an awareness programme was organized by ANTF in Srinagar against the use of illicit drugs. The focus of this awareness programme was to make the general public aware about the ill effects of use of illicit drugs on our society.
General public was appealed to come forward and share informations regarding those who are involved in this illicit trade and peddling. The programme was hailed by all sections of society, SP ANTF Vinay Sharma said.
