BSF’s 168 Bn organises medical camp

MENDHAR, Dec 22: BSF’s 168 Bn organised a medical camp at Higher Secondary School of village Achhad under Civic Action Programme.
I.D Singh, DIG SHQ RJR and Pradeep Singh, Commandant 168 Bn BSF were also present on the occasion.
All soldiers of The Royal 168 Battalion BSF organised the event in which Dr. Md. Shahrukh Niaz Khan of PHC Mankote, Dr Santosh Chavan of BSF, Dr. Prajakta Chavan and Dr. Mehtab Anjum provided medical cover to the civil population of border area near Achhad.
A total of 553 patients including children were examined by the specialist doctors and were given due medical treatment.
During the event, I.D Singh expressed his concern about the need of improvement in providing medical facilities to the border area people and also enlightened the gathering to take care of health by nurturing good eating habits and making physical exercise a regular part of routine.
Various facilities like refreshment and canteen were also made available for the public during the camp and patriotic songs were also played throughout the event to bring about a feeling of enthusiasm and motivation among the civil population.
