Anshul brings laurels

JAMMU, Jan 24: Anshul Gupta from the Government MAM College, Jammu brought laurels to the State by winning 3rd prize in the 39th Kamalnayan Bajaj Memorial National Inter-University Elocution Competition, organized by Shiksha Mandal, Wardha in Maharashtra.
The prize carried a cash amount of Rs 5,000, a trophy and a commendation certificate.
It may be recalled that Anshul was deputed for participation in the said competition on the basis of his performance in the Inter-Collegiate/ Departmental Elocution Competition conducted by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu.
Harpreet Singh Hora from Punjab and Shovana Misra from Bhubaneshwar were adjudged 1st and 2nd respectively.
The Topic of the National Competition was “Reforming Indian Education Perspectives, Issues and Ways Forward”. Dr Sudershan Iyengar, Vice-Chancellor, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, was the chief guest on the valedictory function.
Meanwhile, Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu has congratulated and Anshul for this landmark achievement.
