Anshu Kumari urges J&K girls to fight for rights

DODA, Dec 9: Anshu Kumari, general secretary of Patna University Student Council and national convener of Girls Wing of All India Students Federation (AISF), has urged the girls of Jammu and Kashmir  to fight for the rights of women and students in Chenab Valley region and Jammu and Kashmir State.
“I was four years old when my father left us and after that the responsibility of family was on my shoulders but I did my job with seriousness besides remaining continuous activist in student struggle,” she said while addressing a function of student, here today.
She further said that if the girls like her can struggle for  students rights even in worse conditions and circumstances, the girls of Jammu and Kashmir can fight better for their rights and show their women power to bring a change in the present system of education.
She  appealed to the J&K Government  to make laws for women’s safety in Jammu and Kashmir who are still facing the discrimination. She also stressed the need for opening  more and more Women Colleges for educating girls.
She also urged the  students to become part of All India Students Federation for effectively protecting rights of the student community.
