JAMMU, May 25: In order to rejuvenate the Party further and lessen the workload on existing team of office bearers, the BJP State president & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, today nominated some State office bearers, Morcha Presidents and district presidents.
The decision was taken by Mr Sharma in consultation with senior Party leaders including State general secretary organization, Ashok Koul.
Among the new office bearers nominated by the Party Sat Sharma, MLA Jammu West and Qadir Wani were appointed as vice presidents.
Dr. Narinder Singh a RSS ideologue and former ABVP president and Munish Sharma a senior Party leader were nominated as State general secretaries, Aseem Gupta and Dr. Drakshan Andrabi were nominated as State secretaries while Suresh Sharma was nominated as State publicity secretary.
Jugal Kishore Sharma also nominated BJP spokesman Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra as BJYM State president in place of Ravinder Raina MLA and Purnima Sharma as Mahila Morcha State president in place of Priya Sethi who was inducted in coalition Government as MoS recently.
Manmohan Singh has been nominated as Akhnoor district president while Dr. Dawa has been nominated as Leh district president by BJP State president.
According to a BJP handout some posts in State unit, Morcha and districts got vacant because these functionaries had been included as Cabinet and State Ministers in the State’s coalition Government.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the party has nominated BJP leaders against these posts with a motive for smooth functioning of the organization and expressed hope that the party will get further strengthened with the nominations of the said leaders in the organization.
