JAMMU, June 3: Narwal police rescued another girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Parveen Kumar on May 30 stating that their two daughters have been kidnapped.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 127/17 under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered and investigation started.
A team from Narwal police station conducted raid in Reasi and rescued one kidnapped girl and arrested the accused. The team today rescued another kidnapped girl from Rajouri and arrested the accused, who has been identified as Ravi Kumar of Pallanwala.
The girl rescued today has been handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Narwal police post SI Wasim Mehraj rescued the kidnapped girls and arrested the accused under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Bharat Sharma, SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
