JAMMU, Aug 7: Due to the ongoing unrest in Kashmir valley the Pandit Biradari of Budgam has decided to postpone the annual Maha Yagya in connection with the festival of Sharavan Ashtami which was to be held at Mata Raginya Sheila Asthapan Raithan in Budgam on August 11.
This was stated in a handout issued here today by the Raginya Ashtapan Committee Raithan.
It said the programme has been postponed far the day. It said but to maintain the tradition a routine pooja -archana will be held at the Shrine. However in Jammu the pooja -archana will be performed at Mata Sharda Asthapan Pouni Chak on August 11 and the devotees will be served with Naved after the Aarti.
