Ankur Maitrika Hospital gets NABH pre-accreditation within 16 months of operation

JAMMU, Apr 9: Ankur Maitrika Hospital received entry level accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare Provider (NABH).
As per information received from the Hospital under Quality Council of India, audit process and inspection was performed following analysis of data and the amenities offered by the Hospital after which NABH accreditation was allotted.
According to NABH guidelines, the Hospital activities such as registration entry, pre-surgery and post- surgery and discharge will be monitored. NABH certification stimulates continuous quality improvement. It unravels a Hospital’s commitment to the provision of quality care services. Furthermore, it boosts the confidence of its staff which furnishes the services to the best of their knowledge and practice.
Managing Director and HoD of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department Prof Dr Ajay Wakhloo said that the Ankur Maitrika hospital has served the patients and time to time created awareness by conducting free health check-up camps for the people of Jammu. He acknowledged the contribution of Dr Jitender Kumar (Chief Operating Officer of the Hospital), Dr Asmita Kapoor (quality Manager) and other concerned staff for achieving this milestone.
