JAMMU, Sept 19: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) president Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today exhorted the students and the youth to go against the stride of negativity which dominates all of us.
Dr Andrabi was addressing a congregation of students, organized by Islamia I Education Institute at Waterhail village in Budgam, which was presided over by IEI chairman Mohammed Akram Dar.
She said, “We are fortunate that the outlook of our children has not fallen prey to the negativity propagated by our time for a long time now. These children are the scintillating stars of today and will shine like Sun in the sky of tomorrow”. Dr Andrabi said last six decades have injected pessimism and negative outlook in our generations and we are reaping the fruits of this all.
She appealed the teachers and the parents to desist from feeding communalism and short sightedness to their children as this attitude hinders their overall development. “Inclusiveness is the attitude and approach which makes man the supreme of all creatures and bias and exclusiveness mars and mental development of our wards”, said Dr Darakhshan Andrabi.
She appealed the students to inculcate leadership qualities and habit of hard working so that they shine in life.
