JAMMU, Aug 18: Ati Maha Vishnu Yagya Samiti (AMVYS) in association with Red Cross Society and Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu organized a blood donation camp at premises of Shri Balram Ji Temple, Panjtirthi, here today.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass ji Maharaj and inaugurated by SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
More than 50 youth from different parts and sections of Jammu participated and donated blood at the camp in order to give a message of peace and prosperity.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Jammu said that apart from routine policing and maintenance of law and order in the district, he is always ready to support such kind of genuine causes. He appealed youth of Jammu to come forward for the service of humanity.
Referring to blood donors, Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass ji Maharaj said these blood donors have found a unique way of sending their message of love and humanity by giving supreme gift of blood donation. He added that blood donation is true cause for promoting universalism and peaceful co-existence.
