JAMMU, May 25: BSF and police today recovered a consignment of ammunition and explosives at Chambar Kanari close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Sabjian sub sector of Poonch district.
Recoveries included 423 magazines of AK-47 rifles, 100 grams explosives, seven Chinese torches, one pithoo and one medicines bag.
After effecting recoveries, joint teams of BSF and police conducted search operations in the area. However, no arrests were made from the spot.
Police was investigating recoveries made from the LoC.
