Amit describes reforms for apt functioning of hospitals

JAMMU, Dec 11: Amit Sharma, a senior officer of J&K UT, today took over the charge of a new assignment of Administrator, Associated Hospitals, GMC Jammu and described his vision and few important reforms to improve the overall working in various Associated Hospitals of Jammu.
Immediately after taking over the charge from outgoing Administrator Smita Sethi in the presence of Personnel Officer Deepika Rana, Amit Sharma took an internal meeting of the staff and described his vision to improvise and improve the overall quality of working and provisioning of adequate services in the Associated Hospitals of GMC Jammu. He clearly mentioned that there has to be total collusion and synergy effect in the working between Administrator, Associated Hospitals and Principal, GMC Jammu which shall become visible in the coming days.
Amit Sharma clearly mentioned that his top priority shall be to improve the basic amenities like 100% presence of medical staff, sanitation, food quality, ensuring adequate medical equipments for the facilitation of general public who come from distant places to various Associated Hospitals of Jammu with a ray of hope for saving precious lives of their nears and dears.
Apart from this, Amit on the first day also held a brief meeting with Principal GMC Sunanda Raina and her team and they mutually decided to hold a joint meeting soon to priorities reforms in GMC and its Associated Hospitals. Administrator Amit Sharma also shared his vision of introducing paperless working with introduction of technology and e-Governance based reforms like introduction of MIS in the Hospitals, which shall be on top priority during his tenure.
