AMEAK discusses Quasi Permanent issue with higher ups in Govt

JAMMU, Nov 6:All Minority Employees Association Kashmir (AMEAK) while allaying the fears of employees appointed under Prime Minister’s Development Programme (PMDP) in Kashmir valley said that the issue pertaining to the Quasi-Permanent status and supernumerary nature of PM package employees was discussed in detail with Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha by team AMEAK today.
They said in this context, a permanent resolution to the matter shall definitely be expected in the coming days. If required, the issue may also be placed before the Cabinet for a final decision. The resolution shall comprehensively cover all service benefits for PMDP employees, ensuring justice and parity in their service structure, the Team AMEAK added in a statement issued to press.
It said furthermore, a high-level review meeting is being scheduled soon to hold a threadbare discussion on all pending concerns whether service and residential matters related to PMDP and Minority employees’ working in Kashmir to ensure a time-bound resolution.
It said Team AMEAK also held a meeting with Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo who assured that the issue will be addressed on top priority.
