JAMMU, Jan 2: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) in its meeting here, today held under the leadership of Desh Rattan has expressed concern over the delay in formation of Government in the State and accused the NC, Congress and PDP of creating unnecessary hurdles in this regard.
The meeting while strongly advocating for formation of  a BJP led Government in the State said that the Party has got highest percentage of votes among all political parties in the State and there was no logic in opposing a formation of a BJP led Government.
The meeting said those who accuse BJP of a communal party are not respecting the peoples mandate as the Party got an overwhelming support of the masses in Lok Sabha elections as well as in the State Assembly elections.
Appealing these parties to respect the democratic traditions of the country and people’s mandate the AMCCC urged them to support the BJP in formation of Government in the State.
The AMCCC has also said that separatists have no role in Government formation and they can’t issue any directives to the political parties of Valley in this regard. Desh Rattan said that religion is no criteria for appointment of a Chief Minister.
