JAMMU, Dec 28: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Surinder Ambardar attended a public meeting at Manorama Vihar, Patta Bohri and took stock of grievances of the local residents.
The meeting was organized by Manorama Resident’s Welfare Society under the leadership of Sandesh Kaul, Raj Kamal Sharma, Ratten Lal Tiku & Prediman Krishen Kaul. During the meeting the speakers took up various issues like Repairing / Renovation of lanes and drains, Black topping of roads and mismanagement of waste and garbage in the colony.
The main issues which were brought to the notice of worthy MLC included the repairs and covering of some drains, black topping and repairs of the lanes or by-lanes mostly damaged by the PHE Department, construction of a Community Centre and sanitation including the installation of garbage collection bins, deployment of sufficient number of Sweepers and garbage collecting vehicles.
Ambardar assured them of early redressal of the problems being faced by the residents on priority bases out of his CDF.
