Ambardar discusses migrants problems with RC, Director CAPD

JAMMU, July 7: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today took up different issues pertaining to Kashmiri displaced migrants with different departments and sought their immediate redressal.
In a series of meetings Ambardar met with director CAPD Jammu, G.S.Chib and appraised him about the persistent delay in the supply of the ration at different depots due to which displaced people are subjected to lot of problems.
He also stressed on the need to issuance of ration slips to the migrants falling under APL category.
BJP MLC also emphasized on the need to supply the ration within the first week of every month. He also stressed on the need to strengthen the supply chain module of the department so that the efficiency is increased which will in-turn help in mitigating the sufferings of the people to a large extent
Mr Chib assured that they are already working on different modules to ensure that timely ration is supplied to all the counters without any delay.
Ambardar also had a detailed meeting with Relief Commissioner  R.K Pandita and appraised him about the problems being faced by the displaced people at different places .He raised the issue of water problems being faced by transit camp inhabitants of Veerwan Baramulla and boundary wall construction at Transit camp hall Pulwama and sought its immediate redressal. He was informed that it will be completed within months as tenders have been already invited for the same.
Ambardar also stressed on the need to look into the seepage problems being faced by migrants at different camps. He took up the matter of Issuance of RBA certificate to genuine migrants  and  also brought to the notice of the Relief Commissioner the problems faced by migrant shopkeepers who we’re having their shops at erstwhile camps.
Mr Pandita assured that the department is on the job and will ensure that all genuine problems raised by BJP MLC are redressed without any further delay.
