NEW DELHI, Jan 9: Alminium prices rose by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries amid a firm global trend.
Traders apart from pick up in demand from consuming industries, reports of a firm global trend mainly led to the rise in aluminium prices.
In the national capital, aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, wire scrap and utensils scrap were up by Rs 2 each to Rs 142, Rs 138, Rs 138 and Rs 136 per kg respectively.

Zinc ingot Rs 96-102, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 830-835, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 345, Chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 78, lead imported Rs 84, aluminium ingots Rs 142, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 138, aluminium wire scrap Rs 138 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 136. (PTI)
