NEW DELHI, Dec 23: Aluminium prices fell 0.14 per cent to Rs 110.15 per kg in futures trading today as speculators offloaded positions driven by weak demand at spot markets amid a weak trend in the global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January next year declined by 15 paise, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 1107.15 per kg in business turnover of 9 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in December traded lower by 10 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 108.40 per kg in 78 lots.
Market analysts said speculators offloaded their positions in tandem with a weak trend overseas and at the spot markets owing to sluggish demand, attributed fall in aluminium prices at futures trade. (AGENCIES)
