Commenting on the initiative taken by the Home Ministry to ban the use of pellet, JKPCC chief GA Mir has said that it will be  good on the part of Home Ministry to effect the ban, at the earliest, besides the Ministry should ensure that the alternative will not be lethal.
PCC chief also welcomed the comments of Home Minister about the All Parties delegation visiting Kashmir. Although it is  late, but of course a welcome step. He said Congress Party, time and again, and in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha had urged the Centre Govt to send an all parties delegation to Kashmir which will hold discussion with all shades of opinion.
Mir termed the Valley unrest as an outcome of backstabbing and betrayal with the people by PDP in valley. He said the agenda of alliance between PDP and BJP in which both the parties had promised enough, but could not even make a single promise. The contradiction in the approach of both parties towards the issues, they had agreed to resolve at the time of formation of the Govt has exposed their dual standards, as a result, the Valley is seething in anger after having suffered heavy damages in every respect.
