POONCH, June 24: Road link of around three dozen villages with rest of State was snapped off as the alternate road near damaged Sher-e-Kashmir bridge was washed away due to heavy rains, here this morning.
According to the reports, heavy rains in the area since wee hours washed away the alternate road, which was developed following severe damage to Sher-e-Kashmir Bridge. Areas like Mangar, Dara, Krishna Ghati and Mendhar were cut off due to damage to the alternate road while vehicles from Poonch to Rajouri were being diverted via Kalai.
