JAMMU, Nov 21: On 40th day of “Ashoora” today, All Ladakh Muslim Students Association Jammu (ALMSAJ) organized a blood donation camp in association with Anjuman-e-Imamia at Karbala Complex, near DC Office, here.
The camp was supported and undertaken with the help of Blood Bank, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar.
More than 20 students from Ladakh and Kargil donated blood during the camp.
Among others, who donated the blood were Ahmed Ali, President, All Ladakh Students Welfare Association Jammu (ALSWAJ), Arif, President, Student Association of Leh Jammu (SAOLJ), Rawoof Mir, Chief Organiser, All Ladakh Muslim Students Association Jammu (ALMSAJ) and Prof Shugat Ali, Secretary Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu.
The team from Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar as directed by Medical Superintendent Dr Madhuri Slathia was led by Dr Arun Sharma, Deputy Medical Superintendent. Blood Bank Officer Dr Arifa, Incharge Blood Bank Gurdeep Singh, Manoj Blood Bank Technician, Naveed Mir Lab Technician, Shubam Sharma, Sumit Maini, Shubam Kumar and Megha were also the part of the team.
