NEW DELHI, Dec 6: Almond gurbandi and girdhi prices rose up to Rs 300 per 40 kg in the national capital today largely on the back of increased buying by retailers and stockists driven by ongoing marriage season demand.
Almond gurbandi and girdhi prices increased up to Rs 300 to conclude at Rs 8,300-8,500 and Rs 6,600-6,700 per 40 kg, respectively.
Almond california and its kernel prices also rose by Rs 300 and Rs 5 to traded higher at Rs 19,300 per 40 kg and Rs 680-690 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said fresh buying by retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly pushed up almond prices on the dry fruit market here.
