JAMMU, Sept 12: 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu M K Sharma has acquitted alleged narco smuggler namely Paramjeet Singh as prosecution failed to prove its case.
According to the police case, on June 28, 2011 an information was received in Police Station Nagrota regarding involvement of accused in smuggling and illegal sale of drugs. Police also came to know that the accused was coming from Kashmir with charas and bhuki.
Accordingly, the accused was nabbed and from his possession 74 kilograms of bhuki was recovered. After completion of investigation, police presented challan which was dismissed as prosecution failed to prove its case.
