JAMMU, Jan 28: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that all-round development and welfare of the people of Union Territory is the top priority of the Narendra Modi Government.
He said this while starting the construction work of temple hall alias Sanjha Darbar (Baba Sukrun) with an estimated cost Rs 16 lakh at Channi Himmat Talab Market of Ward No 51. The development work was started in presence of Chairman Public Health and Sanitation Committee, JMC, Raj Kumar Tarkhan and Jammu district president, Vinay Kumar Gupta.
The senior BJP leader commended the Corporator of the Ward and Health and Sanitation Committee Chairman, Raj Kumar Tarkhan for his relentless efforts in the direction of development of Ward No: 61. He said that works in all the Wards are being carried under the meticulous supervision and monitoring of Zila Adhyaksh Vinay Gupta who has been ably carrying the works as per the commitment of BJP. He said that the developmental works carried out in Ward No: 51 are visible on ground and continue at unprecedented pace.
Kavinder Gupta said that works in this Ward are being carried as part of the works being undertaken in all wards pertaining to cleanliness, sanitation, lanes, drains, roads, halls, etc. He said that the present hall is being constructed under a plan that envisages community halls in every area of the City of Temples. The foundation of this hall was laid on previous Puranmasi and the slab work is being executed today which in itself shows the optimum pace at which the work is going on.
He said that full credit goes to the Corporator of the Ward for such tremendous performance. He said that on completion, the hall will be a useful for people of the area for holding various functions.
The senior BJP leader also complimented the locals of the area for their cooperation and support besides their proactive participation in the works being executed in the Ward.
