JAMMU, Jan 16: Members of All J&K Patwar Association, Revenue Clerical Association, Revenue Officers Association and other revenue departmental related associations from Class IV employees to the level of Tehsildars here today constituted a joint All J&K Revenue Coordination Committee.
A handout stated that the Committee will highlight the issues and problems faced by the employees of revenue department.
Such demands were listed in the handout as assured career progression of all cadres of the department like induction of revenue officers in JKAS services, increase in promotion quota for NTs and Tehsildars, timely conduction of DPCs for all cadres, resolving pay anomaly of Patwaris, Naib Tehsildars, providing logistics support like Government buildings, vehicles, for the functioning of Tehsils and Niabats, construction of Patwar Khanas for proper functioning of Patwaris and safety of revenue records.
More demands included implementation of transfer policy framed by the Government in 2010, creation of new Patwar, Girdawar circles, regularization of settlement assistants and prism man, filling up of the post of Financial Commissioner Revenue independently etc.
