All J&K Jat Sabha to hold protest on Aug 5

JAMMU, July 29: All J&K Jat Sabha organized a meeting today under the chairmanship of its president Pyara Singh.
During the meeting, it was decided that Jat Sabha will hold a dharna on August 5 at Press Club demanding OBC status for the Jat community in J&K.
It was also decided in the meeting that district wise Sammelans will be organized very soon before an annual convention is held at RS Pura.
While speaking, Pyara Singh urged upon all those trying to become self styled leader of the birdari to come under the banner of All J&K Jat Sabha and work unitedly for the betterment of the community.
Ex Member Parliament Tarlok Singh Bajwa, Ex Ministers Choudhary Garu Ram, Manjit Singh, MLA Choudhary Sukhnandan, Jaswant Singh, TS Tony, Choudhary Pratap Singh and Surinder Choudhary pressed upon the president to deal strong handedly with those trying to create confusion among the birdari members and creating indiscipline.
Among others present were Avtar Singh Khalsa, Manjit Singh Jatt, Dwarika Choudhary, Ajit Raj, Daleep Singh, Bhag Ram, Balbir Singh, Ajit Choudhary, Jarnail Singh, Kamal Singh, Sham Lal, Baldev Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Narinder Singh Chahal, Jagar Singh, Mohan Singh, Kamal Randhawa, Ghaar Singh, DL Choudhary and Dharamvir Choudhary.
